#Psychiatric medications can assist people with mental illness to have less commanding hallucinations

#Anti-hallucinogenic medications can assist in lessening the frequency of hallucinations

#Many times, even with medication, people with severe and persistent mental illness may continue to hallucinate

#Not all people who hallucinate are dangerous and threatening

#Hallucinations can be frightening to the person experiencing it as much, if not more, to the person witnessing

#Medication prescriptions for people who hallucinate is written by a primary doctor, a psychiatrist or a psychiatric RN
